About Stephen Csengeri

First of all, how do you pronounce that last name of Csengeri?

It’s pronounced Shangaree, like Shangri-la.

I live in Redondo Beach, California with my wife and two daughters. I’ve lived in this area almost my whole life and attended the local schools. I work as a lawyer at my own law firm, Csengeri Law. I am also an active musician, I hit the gym, I am an avid reader, and have always enjoyed skiing. Until recently, I was active in community service as a member for six years with the Rotary Club; I plan to return in the near future.

I previously worked for twenty years in corporate America defending cases involving personal injury, products liability, premises liability, and more. Some of my clients then were product manufacturers, pharmacies, department store chains, Apple Computer, radio stations, UPS, small businesses, and individuals.

I opened my own law office in Torrance, California in November 2001. My office is called Csengeri Law and my practice now is primarily representing people who are injured in matters involving personal injury, defective products, premises liability, serious auto accidents, and more. I also defend clients and small businesses that are sued for various personal injury claims. I enjoy the personal touch I give my clients and am committed to understanding their needs and keeping them informed during each step of the process.

I have practiced personal injury law since 1982. I have decades of experience in the complex area of personal injury law, including the intricate medical, financial and engineering questions that underlie many of my cases. I am proud to represent my clients in their fights to hold large, powerful organizations responsible for serious harms like brain injuries, paralysis, multiple fractures and wrongful deaths.
I am especially well suited to represent my clients who have suffered injuries as a result of a defectively designed medical device, the Zimmer Durom cup or the DePuy ASR, as I personally have been a victim of the Zimmer Durom cup. On my own behalf, I filed and settled the first claim against Zimmer for their defectively designed Durom Cup.
Since 2008, I have continued to represent victims of the Zimmer Durom cup throughout the United States. I have forced Zimmer to pay compensation to his clients for the suffering they have endured from this defective hip implant.

At Csengeri Law, I know victims of serious injuries are often hurting financially as well as physically. That’s why I work on contingency, which means I don’t take any fee unless and until I win your case. I also offer free initial consultations to potential clients, so both of us can decide whether we can team up well together regarding your case. If you suffered a serious injury or someone you care about suffered a serious injury or death, call Stephen Csengeri of Csengeri Law at (310) 373-9330 to set up a free meeting to discuss your case and your rights.

I provide direct answers, supportive guidance, and am a highly dedicated and fiercely loyal advocate on my client’s behalf.
